12-week program | Hands-on training | Authorized by the Texas Workforce Commission | Located in Midlothian, TX
Ellis Co. Dental Assisting Program gives students in Midlothian, Ellis County, and the DFW area a practical, hands-on path toward a dental assisting career. Our program combines online learning, in-person training, experienced instruction, and real dental office preparation so students can graduate with confidence.
Ellis Co. Dental Assisting Program was created to solve a real problem in the dental field: too many students were leaving programs with credentials but without the hands-on confidence needed to succeed inside a modern dental office.
Our program was built by dental professionals who understand what local offices need from new dental assistants. That means students are not just learning from a textbook — they are learning how dentistry works day to day, from chairside assisting to patient communication, sterilization, radiology, office flow, and clinical confidence.
“Our goal is not just to help students finish a program. Our goal is to help them feel prepared for the dental office.” – Amanda Tucker, Instructor
